LOVE ALL
The Non-Violence Project Foundation (NVPF) is a non-profit foundation with the mission to engage, motivate and inspire people to understand how to solve conflicts without resorting to violence. Founded by Rolf Skjöldebrand and Jan Hellman in 1993 the foundation has since then grown to become a leader for its cause.
Jonas Åkerlund joined as Global Peace and Non-Violence Ambassador in 2011 and created his own designed sculpture “Love All”.
DAKOTA KNIT
A truly unique cashmere sweater inspired by the design of the Non Violence sculpture that was created by Yoko Ono. The sculpture is light blue with fluffy clouds just like our sweater.
'IMAGINE' BY YOKO ONO, NON VIOLENCE
The title of Yoko Ono's artwork feels obvious - Imagine. It is one of her belated husband John Lennon, most famous songs with a message of peace. The famous sculpture with the knotted revolver was originally made by the Swedish artist Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd, after John Lennon was tragically killed on December 8th 1980.
In celebration of the peace loving man John Lennon, who would have turned 80 this year, STAGE have made a collaboration with the Non-Violence foundation. The Swedish artist Carl-Fredrik Reuterswärd created a memorial tribute to his friend John Lennon after he was innocently shot and killed, and the result was "The Knotted Gun" we all know.
We are incredibly proud to contribute to Non-Violence valuable work in educating young people all over the world in peaceful solutions. Make your own celebration to the foundation by buying one of only ten unique sweaters we designed for the cause. All profits will be donated to the Non-Violence organisation.
Our ‘Dakota’ sweater is a truly unique cashmere sweater. Dakota is made as an honor to Yoko Ono’s non-violence sculpture ‘IMAGINE’. Just like the sculpture our sweater is in shades of light blue with white clouds.
